FAQ

  • "How many prompts can I request?"
You may pay for as many prompts as you'd like!

  • "I can't think of any prompts, can I still donate and participate?"
Yes! You can request random prompts, which will be up to the creator to choose what they'll want to make!

  • "What is the event's AO3 collection?"
You can find it here! Soon enough, it'll start to fill with the works our creators will make and everyone will be able to check them out through it.

  • "How will creators communicate and find information?"
We have a Discord server, where all creators will be required to join to get all the information needed.

  • "Can I request for a specific creator/how I want the prompt done?"
No, you cannot request a specific artist/writer or WC/art details for your prompt. The creators are all volunteers and will create according to their wishes for as long as it fills the prompt and meets the event's minimum requirements.

  • "What happens if no one claims my prompt?"
If such a thing happens and we can't find anyone to fill it, we will get in touch with you and you may change your request to something else.

  • "Can I request whatever I want?"
Yes, for as long as it is TGCF based. NOTE that the creator is not required to add all DD/TW/CW contents you asked for.

  • "Can I participate if I'm not 18 yet?"
No. Unfortunately, our event is a +18 event. Unless you are 18 by Sep/2026, you cannot become a creator or request NSFW prompts.

  • "When will we start posting?"
As soon as you are finished, you can post it and inform us!

  • "Can I share the event with others?"
Yes! We'd really appreciate if you do! But please don't share it is a fundraising event on AO3 if you mention it on your fic, as it is against their TOS.

  • What kind of deadlines are you expecting to give?
Since we are only requiring fanfics to be 2k minimum, podfics to be a cold read of 3k minimum, and arts to be lineart/greyscale minimum, for now we have a 1 month deadline.

  • My gmail is my personal/professional mail, can I join still? Do I really need to give it?
That is up to you, but since this is a fandom event, we mods don't want anyone to expose themselves! We'll be the only ones who'll have access to all informed emails and we won't do anything with it but use it as a way to reach out to all participants whenever needed. Which is why, if you don't have one already, we recommend creating and using your fandomail.

  • What if I'm matched with a prompt I don't want? Can I reject a prompt if I don't like it?
During sign-ups, we'll be putting out a section where all creators will be able to inform their WANTS and DNW, and we need everyone to be as honest as possible. The information will be used by us during the assignment process, and we'll be doing our best to match things accordingly.
If you don't want the prompt assigned to you, you must inform us ASAP so we can put it up for PH. Do keep in mind that, if it happens and that was your only prompt, you might need to wait until we release the prompts up for PH to get a new assignment.

  • What if it's a hyper-specific prompt and I don’t want to go through all elements?
That is okay, for as long as the main core of the prompt is kept (like ships, trope, etc). For example, if it is a NSFW prompt and it has kinks or features you don't want to make for, it can be removed.
All prompters will be informed during their prompt submission process that not all they requested might be featured.

  • I'm participating in other events and holiday season might make it hard to meet deadlines, can the deadlines be looser?
We'll need you to come talk to us if such a thing happens and you won't be able to meet the deadline! If such is the case, we will negotiate an extension to allow you more time for finishing your prompt.
Do keep in mind you'll need to adhere to the new deadline, and failure in doing so without proper communication might mean in your removal of the event and the reassignment of your prompt!
